Manchester United reportedly have an agreement in place with Jadon Sancho over personal terms and a contract. The winger is patiently awaiting the chance to move to Old Trafford but he is unlikely to force through a transfer this summer.
Sancho signed a new Dortmund contract last season and is therefore expected to accept he will be staying put unless Manchester United pay his price tag.
So far the Red Devils are yet to make any official offers for the star.
There has also been suggestion they are ready to explore other alternatives including Douglas Costa and David Brooks.
United were expecting Sancho’s valuation to reduce following the COVID-19 crisis, which has taken its toll on the finances of football clubs around the world.

“Now it is just down to Manchester United and what the club will decide to do.
“Borussia Dortmund have always said they want €120million and Manchester United were always convinced after the coronavirus that they could get the player for a lower fee for example €100milion with add-ons.
“At the moment this deal is in stand by because Manchester United have now called Borussia Dortmund or his agents to say you are free, or we are going for another because they are still trying to sign him.”
As far as Dortmund are concerned, Sancho is definitely staying for the upcoming season. Their season gets underway next Monday when they travel to Duisburg in the DFB-Pokal.
Then on September 19 Dortmund open their Bundesliga campaign at home to Borussia Monchengladbach.
The German club reportedly set United a deadline of August 8 to complete a deal. Such claims were rubbished in England where talk of a deadline was described as artificial.
