JEREMY Corbyn’s wife waded into Labour’s bitter civil war over Brexit by gloating at Alastair Campbell.
Laura Alvarez posted a series of gleeful comments on Facebook rejoicing at Labour’s decision to kick out Tony Blair’s former spin doctor after he admitted voting Lib Dem in the Euro elections last week.

Writing on a Facebook page titled ‘Good riddance,’ she wrote: “The man who supported the illegal war in Iraq has gone.”
And in a pro-Corbyn group she wrote: “Alastair Campbell always sabotaged the leadership of the LP [Labour party], but now he moved to support the Liberal Democrats.”
Ms Alvearez, a Mexican former banker 20 years Mr Corbyn’s junior, added: “Maybe he can help them to develop more austerity policies.”
Mr Campbell hit back yesterday, blasting: “I guess ‘always sabotaged the Labour leadership’ means that chez Corbyn, Foot, Kinnock, Smith, Blair, Brown, Miliband have all been excised from the history books. Labour began with JC.”
Mr Campbell also claimed Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry and other senior Labour MPs privately think the Labour leader is “bonkers” on Brexit.
Meanwhile Labour’s biggest union backer has warned Jeremy Corbyn that backing a second referendum would be “electoral suicide” for the party.

Unite boss Len McCluskey said another Brexit vote would “pump more poison” into British politics and would lose Labour dozens of its Northern and Midlands seats that it has held since World War II.
He is the latest union leader to publicly warn Mr Corbyn against buckling to his Remainer MPs, who believe they are close to finally persuading the Labour leader to come off the fence and throw Labour’s weight behind a second referendum.
Tony Blair’s eldest son posed with the Lib Dem’s deputy leader Jo Swinson – becoming the latest high profile Labour figure to back the resurgent anti-Brexit party.
