Meghan and Harry announced they were stepping down from royal duties back in January and instead pledged to become “financially independent”. To raise money the couple reportedly signed up with The Harry Walker Agency (HWA) which describes itself as “the world’s leading speakers’ bureau”.
Groups wishing to book the Duke or Duchess for any event must fill out a four page “Virtual Event Request Form”.
The document, leaked to The Telegraph, reveals a number of conditions the host must meet in order to book the royal couple.
Notably Meghan and Harry must be given the final say over who introduces them and moderates any discussions they are involved in.
The form reads: “The choice of Introducer and Moderator will be at the final discretion of the Speaker.
“The Fee will need to be paid directly from the contracting organization’s account.”
The couple also demand to know any sponsors behind an event including “corporations, individuals, members of the organisation and government entities or organisations”.
Harry and Meghan agreed when they stepped down from their royal duties that they wouldn’t accept any work that could cause damage to the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess also agreed to drop their ‘Sussex Royal’ brand and to repay the taxpayers money spent refurbishing Frogmore Cottage, their former home near Windsor.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak the form is specifically for virtual events, and as such organisers must explain what “connection format” will be used.
They must also provide details of their “contingency plan” in case there are “connectivity issues” with Meghan and Harry.
Prospective clients must also answer a number of questions about who is likely to be watching the event.
These include: “Is the event accessible to the public or is access restricted?
“How will access to your event be determined and monitored?
“Will there be a cost associated with participation either through ticket sales or registration fees?”
Back in February Harry and Meghan appeared at a JP Morgan conference in Miami.
The Prince gave an emotional talk about the mental impact of his mother’s death and how he received therapy to help cope with the loss.
The agency adds organisers must specify whether Meghan and Harry’s attire should be “business or casual” for the event.
Last week Netflix announced it had signed a deal with the Duke and Duchess to make programmes for the streaming giant.
The couple will reportedly work on producing films, documentaries and children’s shows.
It is unknown whether they will appear on camera personally but there is speculation they could do so for documentaries.
If follows a similar blockbuster deal agreed with Barack and Michelle Obama in 2018.
In a statement Netflix said: “Harry and Meghan have inspired millions of people all around the world with their authenticity, optimism and leadership.
“We’re incredibly proud they have chosen Netflix as their creative home – and are excited about telling stories with them that can help build resilience and increase understanding for audiences everywhere.”
