Meghan Markle, 39, is a skilled public speaker and it seems her engaging ways have rubbed off on her husband Prince Harry. According to a body language expert, the Duke used gestures regularly employed by his wife as he chatted to athletes during a Zoom call about Netflix documentary Rising Pheonix.
Prince Harry’s most notable project during his time as a working royal was launching the Invictus Games which he founded for injured veterans.
The prince has previously shared his views on what he deems to be the restorative powers of sport and his passion for the topic led him to feature in Rising Phoenix – a Netflix documentary about the Paralympic Games.
On Wednesday Prince Harry joined a Zoom call with athletes featured in the documentary to promote its release.
Harry made the call from his Montecito home and seemed to be in his element as he chatted to the ‘incredible’ Paralympians.

The expert said: “When he speaks he adopts the same air of youthful energy as the other people on screen, using the Meghan chest-pat gesture to suggest deep emotion as he tells them about ‘my biggest hope’.”
According to Judi, Harry reins in his “hands-on” body language and refines them into “precision gestures” as the call continues.
Judi said: “Throwing one hand out across the screen suggests energy and a hands-on approach, but later he reverts to a series of precision gestures like the single or cluster precision pinch with his fingers to suggest he is also the man with a very precise plan for change.”
The body language expert claims these “precise” gestures help to relay Meghan and Harry’s precise plan to “change the world.”

The move will allow them to produce programmes for the streaming giant and echoes a deal struck by former US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle two years ago.
The parallels between the Sussexes trajectory and the Obamas has not been lost on royal watchers.
One expert has even suggested Meghan may choose to follow them again by entering the political sphere.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams did not rule out the idea that US native Meghan could one day run for president.
Mr Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “The Obamas signed a deal with Netflix two years ago.”
“Their production company, Higher Ground, is currently involved in seven productions for Netflix on a fascinating variety of topics from the award-winning documentary American Factory to a drama series about the post-World War 11 world of fashion, a series for the family and a feature film about the abolitionist Frederick Douglass to Overlooked, the story of remarkable people whose deaths were not reported by the New York Times.”
He added: “It is highly unusual for actors in America to go into politics, Ronald Reagan, who became a popular President and Arnold Schwarzenegger who became Governor of California, are the best-known exceptions.
“We know Meghan, an American citizen, is an activist, as she has shown since the age of 11.
“If she, at some future date, were to decide to go into politics, who knows, the pair could be following the Obamas yet again!”
